Mary Power
School Director, Piano & Music Theory
Mary, known to some as Molly, is a qualified music teacher and professional musician from Kilkenny. Mary is the Director of Made of Music Limited, and is an expert in teaching piano, ukulele, guitar and music theory. With her background as a certified secondary school educator, Mary also extends her guidance to students navigating music studies for Junior and Leaving Certificate exams.

Mary holds both a Bachelor of Music and a Professional Diploma in Education (Music) and boasts an impressive teaching journey spanning over 15 years.
​
Mary's teaching philosophy is centred on creating fun and engaging lessons, where students can explore their creativity and develop their musical skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. Not only do Mary's student receive high-quality music tuition, but they also throughly enjoy their music education.

Sidney Dehane Edge
Guitar & Ukulele
Meet Sid, a guitarist and professional musician from Meath. He was initially trained classically at The Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. Sid's musical journey then led him to DCU, where he's currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music.

Sid has performed in various settings, from traditional bands to solo classical performances. Currently, he's a prominent figure in Dublin's Jazz scene, performing on both public stages and exclusive corporate events. He's also a session musician, and has recorded at renowned studios such as Windmill Lane Studios.
​
Over the past 5 years, Sid has cultivated a deep passion for teaching music in private settings. His teaching philosophy centers on creating a fun and relaxed environment, which helps his students find their love for learning this brilliant craft.

Hannah Traynor
Voice & Piano
Hannah is an accomplished singing and piano instructor from Kilkenny. Equipped with a degree from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, she has dedicated over 6 years to teaching across Dublin.

Hannah's musical journey extends beyond teaching, as she has embarked on global tours with acclaimed Irish ensembles, Anúna and Celtic Woman. These journeys have carried her across Europe, the USA, Africa, and Asia.
​
With a background in classical singing, she has worked with Irish National Opera, Opera Collective Ireland and Sestina. She has also performed at many festivals including BBC Proms, Live from London with the Voces 8 foundation, Kilkenny Arts Festival, East Cork Early Music Festival, Cork Choral Festival, and The Operavizsga Festival in Hungary.

While Hannah's performing experiences predominantly center around classical singing, her teaching philosophy embraces a variety of musical genres in both piano and voice lessons. She also has experience guiding students through RIAM and ABRSM exams, as well as Junior and Leaving Certificate practicals, demonstrating her dedication to nurturing well-rounded musicians.

Niamh Ní Lochlain
Violin & Ukulele
Niamh is a violinist from Dublin who has recently completed her MMus in Violin Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Niamh's career has encompassed an eclectic range of performance and teaching roles in both Ireland and the UK.
​
Her extensive experience as a violin teacher has led her to work in schools, community settings, and privately with students ranging in age from 4 to 83 years old. She passionately believes in providing high-quality music education to all, and her work with the Benedetti Foundation has been a significant source of inspiration in this pursuit.
​
Niamh's freelance performing career is as diverse as her teaching. As an orchestral player, she has performed with numerous ensembles, most notably with SinfoNua—an orchestra of young professionals based at the National Concert Hall in Dublin—where she participated in a performance of Fidelio alongside Lyric Opera. Beyond the classical realm, Niamh has regularly performed and recorded with bands and artists in the Irish pop and rock scene. Her collaborations include playing with the emerging band The Scratch and contributing to their live album released in 2021, along with featuring in a music video with the established post-rock band Overhead, The Albatross.

Sean O'Grady
Piano, Clarinet, Saxophone, Ukulele & Guitar
Sean is a multi-instrumentalist musician from Dublin, driven by a deep passion for music performance and teaching.
​
His musical journey has been guided by mentors like Saxophonist Michael Buckley, concert pianist Owen Lorigan, and Clarinetist Bernie Balfe. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Jazz and Contemporary Music from DCU and is currently pursuing the Royal Irish Academy’s Diploma in Music Teaching and Performance.

Sean's musical versatility shines through his involvement in bands such as Toshin, The Mixtape, The Metabollix, The Brass Monkeys, and Booka Brass. He's graced stages at Electric Picnic and The Cork Jazz Festival, and serves as a session musician, contributing to numerous recordings, notably to the 2018 track "Heroin Chic," which has garnered an impressive 500,000 plays on Spotify.

Sean's mission is clear: he's committed to empowering his students with the tools they need to express themselves through music.

Barbora Klimova
Cello
Barbora's musical journey began at the Janacek Conservatoire of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, where she specialized in cello performance from 2006 to 2012. Starting at the age of 8, she quickly embraced the cello and later became an active member of student orchestras across Europe.
​
In 2019, Barbora expanded her musical horizons by earning a Master's degree in music therapy from the University of Limerick. This added dimension deepened her understanding of music's impact beyond performance.
​
Barbora's mission revolves around making music, particularly classical music, accessible and engaging for all. Her passion lies in creating an inclusive musical space where people can connect with the beauty of melodies regardless of their background or experience.

Enrico Goffi
Drums
Enrico is a versatile drummer and composer, with over ten years of performance expertise and over three years of dedicated teaching experience. Since relocating to Ireland, Enrico has completed an undergraduate program in jazz performance at DCU and earned a Master’s of Arts degree in composition from Maynooth University.
Enrico has also performed with various pop, folk, and fusion bands across the country and in his home country of Italy. He is currently leading his own band where they perform Enrico's original compositions.

Enrico is thrilled to extend his passion for music to budding drummers at Made of Music, where he looks forward to inspiring and guiding the next generation of musicians.

Irvinas Karkauskas
Piano
Irvinas Karkauskas began his classical studies at the age of 5, while also studying jazz harmony in parallel. From 2012 to 2021, he attended TU Dublin (formerly DIT), where he studied under Padhraic O’Cuinneagain. Irvinas has participated in many classical piano competitions, earning first place in the Midlands Feis Ceoil in 2015 and the Naval Choral Festival in 2016, along with numerous highly commended certificates over the years.
Irvinas started his professional jazz career by performing weekly Saturday gigs and participating in charity events in Dublin. More recently, he was featured in the Siena Jazz Festival in July 2024. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music at DCU.
With over 4 years of teaching experience, Irvinas has taught piano both privately and in schools. His teaching style is fun and explorational, focusing on ensuring students enjoy their journey through learning piano and music theory.

Viktória Sinkorová
Guitar & Ukulele
Viktória Šinkorová is an educator, composer, classical guitarist, free-improviser and early-career researcher from Slovakia who collaborates extensively with other musicians, light designers, dancers, and filmmakers. She holds an undergraduate degree in Performance and Composition from Middlesex University London, where she received the Turton Prize for outstanding academic achievement, and a postgraduate degree specializing in Contemporary Performance and Composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Viktória keenly participates in various creative projects and serves as the program & artist manager for the Viva Musica! festival. She has performed in numerous venues and festivals across Europe.
Viktória is an experienced teacher, dedicated to providing personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs, level and preferences. She teaches guitar and ukulele ranging from beginners to advanced students. While specializing in classical music, Viktória also teaches popular music. Her primary goal is to create a fun and engaging environment where students can enjoy the learning process and discover their unique musical interests.

Seán Addison Smyth
Piano
Seán is a passionate and dedicated piano teacher who is deeply committed to nurturing not only technical skills but also a lifelong love for music. A former student at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), he has successfully completed up to Grade 8 and holds a diploma in piano performance and teaching. He also proudly maintains registration with the Music Teachers Board (London).
As a former music director at a theatre school, Seán brings a wealth of experience in both classical piano and musical theatre to his teaching. He infuses his lessons with creativity, depth, and engagement, ensuring a rich learning experience. Seán has successfully guided his students through the RIAM, ABRSM, and MTB systems, helping them achieve new heights in their musical journeys.
Seán's approach is rooted in a belief that music is more than notes on a page—it’s a form of self-expression, a language of emotion, and most of all fun!
